I think that was due to multiple versions of EnterpriseLibrary installed on my system and creating another directory and placing the dlls there might have the same effect For me 2 worked. I was able to get rid of the run-time-error by adding 'everyone' user to the directory where my project is as well as where the Enterprise libraries are installed.
